Saigon Choir

Saigon Choir được thành lập vào đầu năm 2016, là dàn hợp xướng người lớn đầu tiên của Việt Nam đạt được 5 giải thưởng quốc tế uy tín: giải Vàng – Hội thi Hợp xướng quốc tế tại Hội An năm 2017, bằng chứng nhận Excellent – World Choir Games năm 2021, 3 giải Vàng và 1 giải đặc biệt tại Hội thi hợp xướng quốc tế tại Hội An năm 2023. Các giải thưởng này cùng với những màn trình diễn đặc sắc đã giúp Saigon Choir được các chuyên gia trong ngành đánh giá là dàn hợp xướng số một Việt Nam hiện nay.

Thành viên của Saigon Choir là sinh viên tại Nhạc viện và một số trường âm nhạc khác của thành phố Hồ Chí Minh. Các bạn được huấn luyện kĩ năng thanh nhạc và được dẫn dắt bởi Thạc sĩ Huỳnh Quang Thái – giảng viên Thanh nhạc tại Nhạc viện.

Trong gần 8 năm hoạt động, Saigon Choir đã tổ chức được 9 concert riêng, 1 buổi workshop dành cho khán giả muốn tìm hiểu về nghệ thuật hát hợp xướng, thu hút hàng ngàn lượt khán giả đến xem trực tiếp và rất nhiều lượt xem, chia sẻ trên các kênh trực tuyến. Đồng thời nhóm cũng đã được mời biểu diễn trong nhiều chương trình nghệ thuật quy mô lớn.

Saigon Choir, established in early 2016, holds the distinction of being the first adult choir in Vietnam to achieve five prestigious international awards. These notable accomplishments include the Golden Diploma at the International Choir Competition in Hoi An in 2017, the Excellent Certification at the World Choir Games in 2021, and three Gold Golden Diplomas along with a Special Prize at the International Choir Competition in Hoi An in 2023. These remarkable achievements, alongside their exceptional performances, have solidified the Saigon Choir’s reputation as the top choir in Vietnam, garnering recognition from distinguished experts in the field.

The members of Saigon Choir are students from the Ho Chi Minh Conservatory of Music and other music schools in Ho Chi Minh City. They undergo rigorous vocal training under the guidance of Huynh Quang Thai, a vocal instructor at the conservatory. With a strong foundation in music education, these talented individuals have cultivated their skills and united to form a harmonious and dynamic ensemble.

For the past eight years, the Saigon Choir has been actively organizing annual concerts and workshops, providing audiences with an immersive experience in the world of choral singing. These events have attracted thousands of attendees, generating a substantial online following with numerous views and shares across various channels. Furthermore, the choir has been specially selected to perform in grand events and shows throughout the country, showcasing their exceptional talent on a larger scale.
